Some of Scotland's best walking, mountaineering, mountain biking,
golfing, gliding, horse riding, and fishing is in the area. It's
possible to hire equipment and excellent tuition is available.
There are excellent local indoor sports facilities, offering the
usual range of sporting opportunities, including swimming.
The area
is rich in historical sites of interest and visitor attractions.
There are castles, gardens, whisky distilleries and stone circles,
museums, art galleries and shops. Balmoral Castle, where the British
royal family spend their summer holidays is near. In summer it's
possible to attend church services with members of the royal family.

can visit Loch Ness, Aberdeen (oil capital of Europe) and Edinburgh,
Scotland's stunning capital city.
